Stephen Zeigler is a US Army veteran, who joined the Mississippi National Guard, as a part of the 113th Military Police Company. He was deployed twice, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (2003) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (2007/08). After 10 years of service, he left the National Guard as a Sargeant E5.


Stephen attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice/psychology. After college, he went into local law enforcement as a patrol officer with the City of Pearl Police Department, then becoming Detective with the Narcotics unit. During this time, he was a member of the SWAT team, as well as serving on the Gulf Coast “HIDTA” task force.


Currently Stephen lives with his wife (Emily) and their two children Ansley and Will in Leesburg, MS. He currently owns a home improvement business, operating in central Mississippi. As a family they enjoy traveling to Ole Miss sporting events, hunting and going to the beach. 


Stephen also enjoys volunteering with the Mississippi Special Olympics, serving as a golf coach for the last several years. As a member of 5th Squad, he is grateful to have the opportunity to serve those who have served this great country as well as the comradery that comes with being a part of a great organization of brothers and sisters.
