Ruck for Rugrats – NAS Meridian Edition

The Ruck for Rugrats was created by 5th Squad, a nonprofit organization made up of combat Veterans who wanted to do something special for children spending the holidays in the hospital. Much like Veterans who often struggle with the isolation of their experiences, these young patients can feel separated from the joy of the season. 5th Squad’s mission is to show the children at Children’s of Mississippi Hospital that they are cherished, remembered, and never alone.

This special edition of Ruck for Rugrats will take place on Naval Air Station Meridian, and participation is open to military members, civilians, and families with base access.⚠️ Please note: All participants must have a valid military-issued ID and authorized access to NAS Meridian to take part in the event.

Participants are asked to bring their own rucksack or backpack and be either over 16 years old or accompanied by a parent or guardian.…
