The R2R “Ruck2Remember” shirt is more than just apparel — it’s a tribute, a tradition, and a symbol of remembrance. Born from the sands of the Middle East during the 2018 deployment of the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team, this shirt was created by 5th Squad members as part of a weekly tradition honoring the 82 Mississippi service members who lost their lives in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
 
Each Wednesday while deployed, a dedicated group of soldiers would ruck a 5K in their memory — a moving act of physical and emotional endurance to ensure their sacrifice was never forgotten. The front of the shirt proudly displays “R2R: Ruck2Remember – In Honor of Our Fallen” alongside the silhouette of a battlefield cross, symbolizing respect and reverence. The back lists the names of the fallen, making this shirt a wearable monument to their service and sacrifice.
